Much of WECC services are proving valuable to individual investors or investment groups interested in adding renewable wind energy projects to their investment portfolio. Investment in wind power is attractive to investors for a variety of reasons. Many factors must be considered before and after a decision is made to invest, such as wind statistic, negotiated power purchase agreements, proximity to the grid, tax credits, and much more. WECC works with a variety of entities to help put together the 'right' plan of action to ensure project success and to mitigate risk to the greatest extent possible.
